Our Story

GLADDERR has been founded by Rob van Dusseldorp out of passion and love for beauty. Rob designed and created a range of Stylish razors for men and woman together with Industrial Designer Lieven Bekeart. Each individual razor and bead are handmade by qualified and specially trained craftsmen. Our vision is based on creativity, innovation and passion for design and beauty.

This includes our unique cosmetic shaving line which has been created to make you feel good. The use of our products brings you the optimum shaving experience and pleasure.

A hand made product

The basic parts of the razor, the mounts and the beads are of Stainless Steel of the highest quality and hand made according tot the lost wax method. They are luxurious and sustainable. We use several techniques for the finishing of the beads, such as stone, pearl or enamel to create different experiences. The Zirconia stones in the sparkling beads are put in a brass base in a white gold plated grid, one by one.

Each product is manufactured with the greatest of care. Since our products are hand made, individual elements can vary from one another. Therefore every part of each razor of GLADDERR is unique.

Cubic Zirconia

Cubic zirconia (also known as CZ) is similar to a diamond with its brilliance and crystal clarity, but it is a synthesized (man-made) crystalline material that is colorless, hard, and flawless. Cubic zirconia produces more flashes of color than a diamond.

Cubic zirconia can be transformed into the same popular cuts and shapes that are used for diamonds and colored gemstones. The zirconia color is achieved by adding certain metal oxide dopants, during production. The value therefore varies by color.
